Only a 15 minute drive from Glasgow Airport; and Prestwick Airport is only 45 minutes away. Very central location: 15 minutes from Loch Lomond; Helensburgh; Balloch; Luss; ideal for day trips to places such as Edinburgh, Troon, Ayr(shire), Callander, Dunoon, Trossachs, Inveraray, Aberfoyle, Oban and Stirling. Glasgow City Centre only 25 minutes away. And of course Dumbarton Castle is right on our doorstep (5 minute walk). Fantastic stop over town to spend a few days in before going further north to the Highlands, Inverness/Loch Ness, etc.. on your vacation.

Further Information: Dumbarton East is our closest station. You come out of the station and take a right. It's a straight walk from there - we're about 5 minutes away on foot.
Getting There: If you're arriving from the south (e.g. Glasgow or Prestwick Airports), we're on the main road (on your right) you take to get into Dumbarton.
