Richmond Hotel

The Richmond Hotel is situated in the historic Welsh town of Aberystwyth and set on the main Georgian promenade. It is a Grade II listed building dating back to the Georgian/Victorian era and has fantastic views of Cardigan Bay and its surroundings. It is a family owned hotel where you will receive a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. The family has over 35 years experience with welcoming guests.

All the bedrooms in the hotel are non-smoking and have their own bathroom and toilet and all the luxuries you could want. The hotel has a comfortable lounge with its own bar where guests can relax and enjoy a panoramic view of Cardigan Bay. It has a stylish evening restaurant that offers traditional Welsh and British cuisine and has sea views. The hotel has a function suite for up to 60 people with an adjoining bar and anteroom where food and refreshments can be served to suit personal requirements. There is also a small garden that you can sit and relax in.

There is a lot to do and see in Aberystwyth and there is a range of activities to get involved in such as cycling, fishing, golf and walking. Aberystwyth is great for a walking holiday base. You can walk the famous Coastal Path or right up to Pumlumon, the highest summit in the Cambrian Mountains. There is also a range of attractions in the town such as the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Ceredigion Archives and Devil's Bridge Falls in the Rheidol Valley.
