The Abington Hotel is situated less than a mile from Abington services at junction 13 near Biggar on the M74. The hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the Lanarkshire countryside, and makes the perfect base from which to tour the Scottish Borders, the Clyde Valley and the exciting cities of Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The Abington Hotel provides all guests with a traditional Scottish welcome, and our friendly and helpful staff are always on hand to cater to your every need. The hotel has been completely refurbished since it was built back in the late 1800's, and has recently had a conservatory added, and had all bedrooms, the restaurant and reception area completely redone.
