Ansteys Lea

Ansteys Lea is a former victorian gentleman's residence and was converted into a small hotel in 1946, comprising of 24 rooms with a charming warth and character, standing amid an acre of sunny, landscaped grounds.

Relax in the comfort of the elegant lounge or savour a drink in the picturesque gardens or sheltered sun terraces, surrounding the heated outdoor pool. They believe in preparing quality food and therefore only use the freshest local produce.

All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings and en-suite facilities and many rooms boast unrivalled views across the leafy Ilsham Valley to the coast.

The hotel is conveniently located just 1,500 metres from the harbour, flanked by the town centre and the dramatic Babbacombe Downs, with its famous model village, regarded as one of the 'twenty places in Britain' you must visit by Woman magazine.
