Birchwood is a charming example of Victorian architecture - a fine, Scottish family house, superbly set within two acres, mainly natural woodland, but with a generous sweep of lawn, overlooking the town of Pitlochry.
The character of the country house with darkwood-panelled hall, open fire on colder months in the lounge, enhanced by comfortable furnishings, has been carefully retained.
Looking out on the garden, our restaurant offers the best of fresh, Scottish produce. The quality of the dining experience is one of the main attractions for the many repeat visitors.
Some of our bedrooms were doubtless built for that purpose, but not even a Victorian family could have filled all twelve! It's easy to imagine a drawing room or study, perhaps a library or music room....so each bedroom is unique; no predictable uniformity - all are en-suite.
