Welcome to Church Ope Café and tea garden on the Jurassic Coast path at Portland. This is a tranquil haven tucked away above the historic ruins of Rufus Castle, St Andrews ancient church and the award winning clean bathing sea and cove below.

Here you will find wonderful home made, organic and local produce served in the pretty tea garden on sunny days. On chilly days you can sit in the cafe before a blazing log fire sipping organic and fair traded coffee, tea and cakes and reading the newspapers or browsing the local environmental and food news.

A range of local nature photography cards are for sale as well as the work of local painters and artists.

Doug's home baked and organic cream teas are worth lingering over after lunches intriguingly named " Climber's Canteen," "Twitcher's Tiffin," " Sunbather's Salad" and " Rambler's Rations."

Walkers, bird watchers, climbers, bathers and sight seers as well as locals and visitors to the museum and ruins come for morning c
