Bar 163 in Egham, was established in 1984 to provide good quality affordable food and wine in a relaxed environment where the emphasis is on enjoyment. The formula has worked in much the same way ever since and we now operate two restaurants, Egham and Chertsey, which each have their own very individual style.
Egham, which is where it all started, has room for up to 120 with a private dining room, balcony and large courtyard garden. The Chertsey resaturant is sited in a Grade 11 listed building built in 1850 and can seat 90. It has an upstairs restaurant and bar with a ground floor cafe and covered outdoor eating area. Jazz nights are held at the restaurant on the last Thursday of every month and both restaurants hold regular wine tastings and other events.
