This gracious two-storey mansion house was built in 1654 by the Earl of Wemyss and given to Colonel Maitland and his family shortly after being built.
The house was converted into a hotel some 200 years later and today retains all the charm of an old country house together with the quality and efficiency of a modern hotel that has been refurbished in September 2005.
Enjoy continental and Scottish cuisine, together with fine wines, a log fire and comfortable rooms, complemented with free parking.
