The Queens Head

The Queens Head is a family run old fashioned friendly Public House. Bed and Breakfast is available in our 7 comfortable traditionally furnished ensuite rooms all which have colour remote t.v., courtesy trays and hairdryers. All our bedrooms are non smoking.

We welcome fishing parties, cyclists, walkers, golfers or just parties... We can arrange discounted green fees, fishing permits and free fly fishing taster sessions on Thursday evenings.

Our restaurant is renowned for the quality of the food. We only use the best produce available in our kichen. Britsh meat, sourced in most cases from local farms, speciality sausages from the local Butcher,Game from the surrounding estates, and freshly baked bread from the local Baker. Fruit and Vegetables are delivered daily from the Tyneside markets or sourced locally when in season.
