The new name and groundbreaking concept behind what promises to be one of the most unique bars and restaurants in Northern England was unveiled in Newcastle today.
Barluga- the bar with caviar- is the new identity of what used to be Metropolitan Bar and Brasserie, which has just undergonea major refit of its Grey Street site.
Barluga will mix a modern members-club-style waitress served lounge, a sophisticated bar and a restaurant serving the best seafood and modern British cuisine. The highlight of the menu will be various kinds of caviar from Eastern Europe, coupled with champagne and fine wines and beers.
