This hotel is situated in the main square of Huddersfield, opposite the railway station and just 10 minutes from the M62. Leeds/Bradford airport is also within easy reach.
The hotel also has an attractive bar and lounge and extensive conference facilities. This is an excellent hotel and is ideal for those visiting the Peak District and the Bronte country. The hotel is famous as the birthplace of Rugby League, the meeting that founded it was held here in 1895.
The rooms are medium in size and in very good condition with Ensuite Bathrooms, satellite TV, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone and welcome trays. The decor is very Victorian with patterned wallpaper and matching bedspreads and curtains.
