Ciros Pizza Pomodoro - Tower Hill

Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro is something of an institution among pizza-eating fun-lovers. Just like the two other London CPPs (there are others all over the world), its walls are covered in photographs of film stars, musicians and sports personalities. The food too gets the celeb treatment. Mushroom pizza, for example, is called Dustin Hoffman's Favourite.

The tuna steak, seafood salad and daily specials go down particularly well with the animated City regulars that fill this modern atmospheric pizzeria and spill out on to the terrace from where you can marvel at the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Live music is part and parcel of Ciro's and you can enjoy enthusiastic performances pretty much every week night.
