Ditto

On first entering ditto you might think you had entered an intimate lounge bar with sumptuous chocolate leather sofas to relax, play backgammon and admire the local art adorning the walls - well you have, but what's more - a bright, inspiring dining room awaits beyond. An appealing Modern European menu is on offer from a team who profess their goal to be 'constantly aware of their guests needs and to exceed their expectations and make them feel at home' - and indeed they do. Portions are generous and yummy including favourites such as salmon and herb fishcake with tartar sauce; confit duck, artichoke and new potato terrine; a selection of antipasti from ditto deli to start. Braised lamb shank and basil mash; roasted halibut with sauté crayfish, mushrooms and lemon dressing for mains. Desserts are equally as adventurous yet homely including warm banana bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream and light chocolate mousse with mint cream to name but a few.
