Elements Restaurant

Elements is the smart groundfloor restaurant of Novotel London Greenwich, part of a 'new generation' of refreshingly well-designed hotels. The first thing you notice is the airiness - large windows overlooking the high road flood the room with natural light. Deep purples, pinks and reds are repeated throughout the spotless room, including in the hospitable waiting staff's ties and the modern art boldly adoring the walls. It's a warm, inviting space. Pick of the appealing Modern European is the flavoursome, lightly spiced red lentil soup; a simple grilled tuna steak on a bed of rocket salad; and the amazing white chocolate terrine. Sundays sees live jazz performed by the well-respected Gordon Mark Webber and Gunther Kuermayr during a £16.95 buffet brunch. How civilised.
