One of Fulham's most popular restaurants/bars, hip locals have been flocking to The Farm since its relaunch under new ownership in 2006. It's easy to see why -- attention to detail in design and cooking is evident everywhere. The bar area has low-slung leather couches and crackling fires while the dining room is lighter, with polished tables, a long glass wall, and witty red velvet panels. This is modernism in the square, Farm style. Modern European favourites fill the menu with dishes you really want to eat: starter of pan-fried foie gras on homemade brioche with dates in Sauternes, main of rack of Elwy Valley lamb with sautéed new potatoes and shallot puree, dessert of carpaccio of pineapple with basil and lime sorbet. Trad Sunday lunch features eye-opening bloody marys and Sunday papers, and a weekend brunch menu served from 10am - 3pm should ease away the night before.Average price - £35-£44/€57-€72
