Locals have raved about The Food Room ever since it opened and now converts from all over London eagerly make their way there for excellent French cuisine in convivial surrounds. Brought to you by The French Table people, The Food Room is a charming, welcoming, relaxed and sophisticated restaurant that is serious about good food. The French/Mediterranean menu changes regularly. Recent dishes included starter of rillette of haddock with chorizo crisps, potato salad on bed of piperade and poached egg, main course of saddle of venison with pear and shallot tatin, turnip puree and venison sauce, and pudding of rice pudding with kiwi tuile and kiwi sorbet. Excellent value early bird menu.
