If you need good food in comfy, homely surroundings once you've gathered your freebies and/or exhibited at ExCel, then leave via the East exit, and walk five minutes to Connaught Bridge; you can't miss the Fox.

There are separate bar and restaurant areas, as well as a beer garden; a lovely place to enjoy the half price bar food and wine between 5 and 7pm every night. From head chef Marco Cruz's British menu we recommend the salad of haddock, mizuna, basil and spinach. But if you fancy something less virtuous, how about ham, egg and chips, or a burger? And then there's dessert...
