Take a short stroll from west entrance of the exhibitionist's mecca, the ExCel centre, in London's Docklands and you'll find yourself at the cavernous, industrial-style Fox@Excel. Filled with polished wood and shiny metal, it is self-consciously modern.
But look a little closer and you'll notice some the old tobacco warehouse's original features. There are separate bar and restaurant areas, the latter serving British dishes such as the signature salad of haddock, mizuna, basil and spinach. Desserts include the all-too-rare pavlova.
