Glas is a smart, charming little restaurant launched by Anna Mossenon, whom foodies will know as the face of her Scandelicious stall at Borough Market, while others may recognise her from Masterchef at Large. Well versed in sourcing prime Swedish produce, at Glas - with the support of former Swedish Chef of the Year, Patric Blomquist - she offers a smorgasbord-style menu of small, simple, seasonal dishes starting at £3.95. Our pick is homemade gravadlax with a thick mustard sauce, served with hot, buttery brioche; duck-liver-terrine; and spiced anchovy and egg salad. (We'd very happily eat everything, mind you). Hot dishes include spiced venison and reindeer, with interesting accompaniments such as pickled quince and liquorice jus. Good drinks list, particularly the aromatic white wines. Lovely service.
