This historic pub has had a loving and correct exterior refurbishment that would shock no one, but open the door and voila. You're met by a modern, shiny decor marvellously kitted out in chocolate leather, Smarties-coloured details and a fabulous Roy Lichtenstein original print that lights up the room. This is West End dining at East End prices, and the vibe is seriously good. Try starter of oriental duck salad, main course of tuna steak in Cajun spices and pud of lemon tart. There are also sarnies and fab nibbles.
