Jols

Jols is not your usual Indian restaurant but one of a growing number of establishments adopting a modern, fresh approach which is reflected in both the dishes and the décor. Gladly, you still will find all the old favourites served here such as jalfrazi, rogan josh and madras, but the chef also specialises in Nepalese recipes. Nepalese cuisine we are told is simple and subtle in flavour combining the two culinary traditions of India and Tibet which is also exotically known as 'cuisine of the Himalayas'. The décor is fresh and minimalist, (no maroon flock wallpaper here), subtle lighting, Latin music, and Mark Rothko prints on the walls all create a relaxing atmosphere.
