Label occupies a prime spot on Manchester's Deansgate strip. Comfy and cool it offers quality service, décor, drinks and food yet is refreshingly attitude-free. Teak parquet flooring, posh leather seating and low-hung lamps move it on several design years from its previous incarnation as Bar Med. The ground floor is a funky bar and dining area. People love eating lunch in the big booths at the front, then from 6pm at the raised section at the back. The British/Med menu is a happy-go-lucky mix of nibbles, sharing plates, salads, mains, sarnies and yummy desserts .Downstairs houses a lively late night lounge and club kitted out in dark wood and textured walls. Lovely fresh cocktails, especially the non-alcoholic and champagne ones. A real crowd pleaser.
