Chef John McClement's eponymous restaurant is the place to go for fine dining in a sophisticated atmosphere. The decor is sunny and elegant. The menu is French, an original blend of classic, provencal, and modern, with specialities like the starter of tete de porc, confit of guines fowl, pigs trotter and boudin of foie gras with beef consomme - that's all one delicious dish. The complex flavours combine beautifully, and the simpler dishes, like saddle of lamb with provencal veg, are perfectly cooked -which is no doubt why it's been awarded its first Michelin star. For the truly hungry, there is a four-course menu, for the ravenous, a seven course - both wine wines. If only Provence really were this close to London...Average price - £25 to £34 (€35 - €47)In-house bar
