Appetizers include fish amritsari, marinated then deepfried; some gorgeously sweet onion bhajis, and dhali bhalle; lentil dumplings in a spicy yoghurt. Starting at £4 mains are marvellous value, and range from the well-loved chicken madras to a creamy dal makhani of textured black lentils in butter.
