Not your average high street Indian, Nayaab on the New King's Road in Fulham specialises in organic dishes, free from colourings, and low in fat. But first, the décor. White walls and table cloths, a modest selection of Indian art, and pale wood chairs help create a bright, modern space.
The list of dishes is as long as the meals are tasty: there are 13 kinds of aromatic freshly baked bread alone. A tandoori mixed sizzler - a selection of all tandoori dishes on the menu (apart from monkfish) is a foodie feast.
A popular veggie choice is cottage cheese roasted with sweet peppers, onions, tomatoes and pineapple in a clay oven. (Extra sauce is £3). If you believe you are what you eat, Nayaab's worth a visit. Extensive wine list and BYO with corkage at £6 per bottle.
