No Sixteen is the kind of restaurant everyone wants at the end of their street. Unless you live in Glasgow's West End, in which case you're wish is granted. Lucky you. In a tiny whitewashed, timber-floored room locals regularly gather to worship at No Sixteen's Modern European food altar.
The cooking is sublime; simple, honest dishes made with well-sourced seasonal produce speak for themselves. This together with friendly, low-key service and wallet-friendly prices make No Sixteen a very attractive West End destination. The two-course early evening (excluding Saturdays) set menu for little over £11 is amazing value. If only there were more restaurants like this....
