The King's Head Hotel is an old 16th century coaching Inn with a new modern face-lift. All public areas have the Elizabeth Hotel refurbishment characteristics of oak panelling and autumnal interior colouring and the non-smoking 60-cover restaurant, once offering a simple carvery is now an inviting place to sample a menu of traditional dishes and offers a daily changing 'Specials Board'.
All twelve bedrooms have seen a magnificent transformation with the colours of gold, royal blue and rich autumnal shades prevalent in the diverse sized rooms, all featuring either bath or shower. Prices start from £85 per night for a twin or double room inclusive of full English breakfast.
The Bar now has been styled as a conventional local meeting place, and the non-smoking Library offers an intimate atmosphere as an alternative. Lady Abigail's Parlour is ideal for small business meetings for up to 10 and the Richard II Suite with its own bar and dance floor can cater for up to 100 guests'.
