The neighbouring Dome might be suffering from a (deserved) lack of lurve, but fans - many of them Chinese - fill the modern tables of Peninsula Chinese Restaurant night after night. This bright, buzzy eaterie serves scrummily authentic Cantonese food from a menu as extensive as any in Chinatown.
Everything arrives in generous, eat-me-now portions, from grilled dumpling starters to a crispy aromatic Szechuan style duck served whole with thin pancakes, salad and a sweet plum sauce. Lots of lobster and crab dishes, as well as beancurd and vegetable choices for non-meat eaters.
Well worth a trip to Greenwich...And it won't break the bank neither.
