Pillar to Post is a pub, but not your average public house. Part of the three-star Osterley Park Hotel complex, for want of a better word, it is often hired out in its entirety to groups of 60 to 70 with something to celebrate.
The food choice is beautifully simple: pub grub. That's it. No fancy canapés or a la carte, just good old homely favourites from scampi and chips, pasta Bolognese, and cheese ploughman's to curry and onion rings, and gooey daily desserts, of course.
Wine starts at £11.95 a bottle; sparkling wine is £16, champagne £29. Open seven days a week. Children welcome. Free parking. A whole pub to yourselves? There's something to tell the neighbours.
