A firm favourite throughout its North London neighbourhood since it was born in 1984, Singapore Garden is attractive by name, attractive by nature. Light, bright and modern, the decor ticks most of the thumbs-up boxes with a fast, friendly service to match. The food, a mix of generously portioned Malaysian and Singaporean favourites such as best-sellers laksa and kuay pie tee. At £7 for two courses, or £8.50 for three, the set lunch menus are a bit of a bargain.
