The Abbey Hotel occupies a prime position, central to all of Baths many highlights; the Roman Baths, Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, shopping and an array of restaurants are all on its doorstep.
When the hotel was built circa 1740 it was as the residence of a wealthy merchant and since its full refurbishment in 1990 it has been accommodating leisure and business guests alike, in stylish, comfortable surroundings.
Each of the 59 en suite bedrooms has been sympathetically refurbished to create a 'homely' feel, through the careful choice of colours and decor. The rooms are well appointed and contain a comfortable seating area.
The Abbey's award-winning Number One North Parade Restaurant has a varied menu that changes seasonally, complemented by sensibly priced wine and an unhurried service. The restaurant is available for private dining and small wedding receptions.
