The Kings Head

A 3 star hotel characterised by an intoxicating mix of theatricality and elegance from a bygone era. Originally a coaching inn in 1611, the King's Head Hotel was rebuilt in 1893 and has recently undergone refurbishment. The hotel now boasts a majestic ballroom that can cater for up to 250 guests, 6 stylish conference rooms, the Northgate Restaurant, a Cocktail Bar and a comfortable lounge on the ground floor.

The King's Head Hotel is the only hotel in Darlington City Centre featuring 86 spacious bedrooms with all the modern amenities sought after by both business and leisure travellers. The hotel's fourth flour is haunted by our ghostly butler Albert who has devotedly walked the corridors for over 100 years.
