There aren't any camels in Australia, but there are certainly Australians in The Camel. And British, Kiwis, and more, all young professionals, enjoying the relaxed, bubbling atmosphere, the sports transmissions, and the great cocktails and gastropub menu.
The decor is lean and modern without calling attention to itself, so the focus is on people having a good time. Great cocktails and adventurous wines.
Dishes include 'Little Eats' of wok-shocked egg noodles with lemon grass and ginger duck, 'Bigger Eats' of toasted risotto of baby zucchini, peas, spinach, mint & goats cheese, and 'Sweeters' of banana and pistachio semifreddo.
