Fans of The Clerkenwell Dining Room will be pleased to learn that owners, Andrew Thompson and Zak Jones, have opened a second restaurant. A small corner site on Curistor Street, EC4 is now home to The Chancery, a super-chic space divided into two adjoining dining rooms where the black and white décor is brightly punctuated by the works of young artist, Stiliana Alexieva. The Chancery tell us they aim to become one of the cities fine dining restaurants. We think they are doing a fine job especially when, to help in their quest, they source the best ingredients from around the world. Some examples of these ingredients can be had in starters such as Prince Edward Island Lobster salad, mango and green chilli salsa or foie gras two ways, honey glazed onions, toasted brioche.
