Discreet and charming restaurant frequented by the Pimlico set and assorted parliamentarians. Just across the road from David Linley and a variety of antique shops, the restaurant with its clear glass frontage is light and airy, sleek and sophisticated. A family run restaurant, Gino Santini opened L'Incontro in 1987 and it is now run by his daughter Charlotte and son in law Christiano. Venetian born chef Simon Rettore predictably served up lots of classic Venetian dishes that are modern in style. The private room downstairs has been designed by Linley and bears his hallmark inlayed natural wood floors and hand - carved furniture. What's cooking? Spaghetti with fresh lobster, cuttlefish in ink sauce served with polenta and poached seabass in balsamic vinegar. Excellent value set lunch £14.50 for 2 courses. Dinner £35 per person plus wine. Menu changes weekly.Average price - £45 and overOrange Brewery37 Pimlico RoadLondonSW1Why not come along and enjoy this London bar which is purely decorated in wood. All beers are brewed on the premises, with no artificial ingredients. This is a very warm and cosy bar with a friendly atmosphere.
