Indian restaurants, they are a' changin' on London Wall. Quietly, quietly Jaipur has transformed into the altogether more slick and sophisticated, Mehek. But it's the contemporary Indian food that stands out most of all. And not just to us - it is in the Top 100 Best in Britian Real Curry Restaurant Guide. Mehek's small, exclusive menu is based on real Indian food - plenty of delicate spices, no artificial colourings - presented in an European style. Heard it all before? Maybe, but the head chef is Ashok Kumar, formerly at the award-winning Tamarind, who created the menus with none other than Atul Kochhar, one of Britain's top Indian chefs and one of only two currently holding a coveted Michelin star.
