Located in the original reception rooms of actress Lillie Langtry at the Cadogan Hotel, this restaurant promises to be something different. And, indeed, it is. Luxuriously chic with a slightly clubby feel, the room is set off by antique features which whisper of its seductive past. Equally alluring is the innovative menu by Chef Richard Shaw, who boldly and brilliantly pairs Poached Loin of Monkfish wrapped in Smoked Salmon with Baby Leeks and Coral Sauce, and Filo Parcels of Wild Mushrooms and Goats Cheese, with a Red Pepper Coulis. Starters are as heavenly as the mains (order the Scallop Ravioli on a Warm Mushroom Salad with Spinach and Sorrell Dressing) while puddings are in the same celestial hemisphere.
