Traditional and terribly British watering-hole and restaurant located 20 metres from Sloane Street, opposite Christian Louboutin. Both the restaurant and bar underwent a complete refurb in September 2000 proving this venue to be the utmost in style, yet maintaining a warm ambience. Lots of regular businessmen and locals and a terribly jolly atmosphere. However the jolly feel should not detract from the restaurant which serves up seriously good food. Impressive selection of fish and game and excellent wine list. They recently won the Moet & Chandon/Harpers and Queen 'Best owner managed Restaurant in London'. What's cooking? International cuisine. Signature dishes include home-made fish cakes with lobster and tomato sauce, risotto with porcini mushrooms and truffles, mixed grill of fish and rock oysters with brown bread and lemon.Average price - Under £24 (€36)In-House Wine Bar 26 Motcomb Street London SW1 Situated upstairs this in-house wine bar offers champagne, fine wines and beers.
