Smollensky's does so many things well, it's hard to know where to begin. During the week, the place is peopled with business folk for working lunches and relaxing evenings, while at weekends, lunches are packed with happy families enjoying the entertainment, while evenings are lively and relaxed. The modern American menu features a hair-raising 20oz T bone steak with a choice of seven sauces. Most popular pudding is Erna's chocolate mousse, but they're all irresistible. Nicely balanced international wine list and friendly welcoming bar. Every night of the week there is a live pianist, and on Sunday this is conjunction with club 606 - please note that on Sundays there is a door charge of £10
