Chef, restaurateur and author, Gary Rhodes has just moved to the West End to open Rhodes W1, a stunning brasserie at The Cumberland hotel in London's Marble Arch. Offering the very best in modern European dishes, but with Gary's distinctly British approach, the real emphasis is on quality ingredients, simply and well prepared. Favourites to date include grilled Bury black pudding with apple and blue cheese salad; hot foie gras with orange brioche toast and sweet oranges; and white tomato soup with tomato and sweet pepper mousse.
