The Black Boy Inn dates back to 1522 and is situated within the historic town walls of the Royal borough of Caernarfon which is the most Welsh speaking town in all of Wales. The Inn is within easy walking distance to the town centre and the famous 13th century castle. The town is just 7 miles from Snowdon and is ideally situated to explore the marvellous beauty of North Wales.
The Inn has a cosy 'Olde Worlde' atmosphere due to the fact that it has wooden panelling, low ceilings, thick wooden support beams and some of its load bearing walls measure on average 1.2 to 1.5 metres thick. The Inn has its own restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It provides standard double rooms and double share facilities with breakfast included.
There are many great facilities nearby such as water sports facilities, gym facilities, driving/motorsport, cycling, skiing, fishing and shooting, tennis, swimming, spa facilities and many, many more. There are also some fantastic attractions such as Caernarfon Castle, Caernarfon Air World, Snowdonia and Llanberis, which is home to the Snowdon Mount Railway, Padarn Lake and the electric mountain hydro system.
