42 The Calls is a refreshingly different hotel, and boasts a unique location and a peaceful setting overlooking the river Aire, and only a short distance from the city centre.

The hotel was converted in 1991 from a cornmill, and since opening has won no fewer than 10 major awards including most recently, The Which? Hotel Guide Top Town House Hotel, 2001.

From its beamed ceilings with their original mill mechanisms, to the handmade beds, and extensive collection of original paintings and drawings, each room is uniquely furnished to create delightfully individual and charming guest accommodation.
