When is a chain restaurant not a chain restaurant? When it looks as amazing as this Ha! Ha! based in the original Central Windsor train station which means you can quaff your pint inside Queen Victoria's grade 1 listed waiting room, now sporting a dramatic new look of chocolate and fuchsia walls with a gleaming chandelier for a touch of glamour.
HRH's original toilet and hand basin have been glazed and are now a permanent focal point. Albert's waiting room has also been refurbished, but it his wife's that steals the show. The comprehensive menu ranges satisfyingly from brunch to nibbles to comfort food, 'proper' mains and delicious deserts.
One of the busiest bars in Windsor, Ha! Ha! becomes full to bursting Friday and Saturday nights. A wonderful place to drink outside in summer.
