Part of the popular Lace Market redevelopment. As classy as its siblings in the burgeoning national chain, this Living Room features a spotless polished dark wood interior, elegant leather sofas, subtle lighting and lots of light. Especially in the first floor restaurant where a glass atrium floods the white seating and large pot plants with natural daylight.

An eclectic menu offers all sorts of tempting dishes. What they sell the most of are the duck spring rolls, and Thai salmon fishcake starters, followed by smoked salmon fillet with olive crushed potato for the main course.

Downstairs in the buzzy bar, it can be fun watching the hip bar staff showing off their skills. Make the most of them and don't leave without trying a champagne cocktail. When in Rome...
