With its characteristic gables and soaring chimneys, the red brick mansion was built as a country retreat in 1859. Sympathetically converted and extended, it now offers 130 bedrooms and a range of superb facilities.
Accommodation varies from beautifully furnished doubles with a choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms, through to family rooms with double sofa beds for the children, right up to the superbly appointed Penthouse Suite with its bedroom, lounge and dining area. All suites are elegantly furnished and are full of character, with many original features restored to their former glory.
The Hotel offers a range of facilities including a Leisure Club, which offers a pillared indoor pool with fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There is also a superb Golf course for guests to enjoy as well as the numerous local and regional attractions to explore.
