The Slug and Lettuce - Brentwood

Whatever your view on chain bars, you can't argue with the popularity of the Slug & Lettuce. It does what it does both well and consistently. As you know, a Slug equals a smart, airy and relaxed atmosphere in which to meet friends and colleagues for a meal, snack or just drinks. Brentwood's Slug has no 'official' dining area, so you can eat - and be waited on - anywhere. Everybody loves the brown leather window booths from where you can see everything that's going on on the high-street. A comprehensive menu offers all sorts from breakfast to main meals and moreish sharing platters and mezze. Favs here are the duck wrap and barbecued chicken and bacon in a rustic-style baguette. Nice staff.
