French doors open onto the High Street, in the courtyard a hubbub of voices wafts into the air, and friends gather to drink and dine under soft lighting and upmarket style. There's a dj at weekends, a non-smoking area for healthy types, and comfy seating for all. The modern British/Mediterranean menu features dishes like starter of home made crispy potato wedges, main course of Sicilian chicken fillet wrapped in cured ham with sun-blushed tomatoes, basil pesto and mozzarella, and dessert (to share) of warm cinnamon waffle and chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream. A great addition to the area.
