Top marks for the view. The Tower Hotel is on the north bank of the Thames overlooking pristine St Katharine's Docks and next door to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Located on the ground floor of The Tower are the hotel's two restaurants: a carvery and The Brasserie.
The Brasserie is more of a casual dining experience serving a Modern British menu in a light, airy space with a panoramic view of Tower Bridge. The animated, largely City crowd show a particular liking for the crab and salad starter followed by a nice ribeye steak and veg. High-level but informal plated service.
In summer, the terrace makes a good spot to while away a leisurely afternoon away from it all.
