The White Lion is a traditional hotel, offering the highest standards of hospitality, service and value for money, without compromising on quality. The establishment is located just opposite the shingle beach where fresh fish is sold from traditional wooden huts lining the shore. Its 38 non-smoking bedrooms are warm and inviting, some with glorious sea views or four-poster beds for those looking for something a little special.

Dining in The White Lion's AA rosette restaurant is refreshingly different and the brigade of chefs are quite simply passionate about food. Fresh produce, particularly fish and seafood, from local Suffolk and Norfolk suppliers are used to produce a wide choice of delicious mouth-watering menus.

The Hotel Bar serves traditional home-cooked lunches, ideal for those with hearty appetites, whilst the oak-panelled Restaurant 1563 offers fine dining in the evening. The bar is well stocked with a variety of real ales and an interesting selection of quality wines, designed to complement a variety of meals and occasions. With its oak panelling and beams, inglenook fireplaces, warm atmosphere and seaside setting; the White Lion is a wonderful hideaway from which to enjoy the natural tonic of a seaside holiday.
