The hotel is a privately owned, family run business. Mark and Sara with their two children bought the property in June 2004.
After extensive refurbishment, they re-opened as The George Hotel and Brasserie in November 2004
Guests have come to expect the warmest welcome with excellent, but unfussy service. In design terms, the intelligent pairing of old and new is a reflection of Mark and Sara's 'anything is possible' attitude.
This philosophy extends to every aspect of the hotel and brasserie.
